Welcome to Real Insights Blog!  My name is Corey McDonald, I am the Associate Pastor at Quest 2819 (“the perfect place for imperfect people.”) located in Lee’s Summit, MO.  I am married to Erica McDonald the most beautiful and wonderful person I have ever met and my best friend.  I’m blessed to have three handsome sons Corey James, Eryk Elijah, and Ashton Lee all who keep dad and mom on our toes!  We have a very busy household.  Oh...I almost forgot Bailey our chocolate Lab.

I created this blog specifically to open dialog to questions about Christianity, religion and the real meaning of life and because I just can’t help it...there will be some world issues discussed as well.  Most people have asked the question “Why do I exist?” or “What’s my purpose in life?” and “Why should I practice religion or follow Jesus?”  Hopefully this blog will open the needed dialog that help answer some of these questions and maybe cause us to at least think differently than we have in the past.
